About us
Every Tuesday night, the little town of Ravenswood Bluff wakes to find its clocktower dripping with blood. Someone at the table is a demon. Most of us are not. Working out which is which, before the demon quietly picks us off one by one, is the whole delicious problem.
Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game in the same family as Werewolf and Mafia, with more roles, more information, and a lot more room to talk your way into or out of trouble. Dead players keep playing. Everyone gets a secret character with its own power. Nobody can fully trust their own information, and the person lying straight to your face might be your closest ally. Never played before? Perfectly fine. We teach you your first game from scratch and you will be up to speed within minutes.
We run as part of the weekly Tafelridder boardgame night in Leiden, every Tuesday at 19:30. Games are played in English, it costs nothing to join, and you can simply show up.
One thing worth knowing about the numbers on here: our core table is usually 5 to 9 regulars who come every week without booking through Meetup, so anyone who signs up on this page is a bonus on top of that. If you only see a handful of RSVPs, do not let it put you off. There is always a game running and always a seat saved for you.
What really keeps people coming back is the people. We make room for newcomers, we explain things without ever making anyone feel slow, and we hang around afterwards to relive the wildest moments of the night. Come as you are, bring a friend if you like, and come find out who the demon is.
