What we’re about

Want to spend an afternoon making new friends and then murdering them? Come join us for biweekly sessions of Blood on the Clocktower, the megahit social deduction game!

We play at the Hugh, a public food court located at 157 E 53rd St, right by the EM6 Lex/53rd subway stop. Google Maps is a liar and says that it's closed on Sundays, but it isn't - the space itself remains open over the weekends even when the restaurants don't. We usually set up shop in two circles flanking Pesce Lulu, the restaurant towards the middle of the common area directly opposite the giant starcase leading to 53rd St.

If you've ever played Werewolf or Mafia, Clocktower will be old hat to you - most of the players are innocent townsfolk, but a few of them are secretly evil and want to destroy the town before they're caught and hanged. No one is ever eliminated entirely, and each player has a unique special ability they can use to subvert the other team. It's an incredibly fun and approachable game of logic, bluffing and betrayal. I highly encourage players of all ages, genders, sexualities, races, game experience levels, etc. to join - the Blood on the Clocktower community is one of the most welcoming I've found in the hobby game scene, and we make an effort to include everyone.

Each session of the game lasts about 60-90 minutes, but I find that after one round, people usually want to launch into more. We start playing at 2 PM and run until they kick us out around 11, but you can show up and leave whenever you'd like.
