Paynetown-Pate Hollow/Whitetail Trail Hike.

Walkers can do either a 5 or 10K walk Hike on challenging trails through a beautiful forest of mixed hardwoods with views of Lake Monroe. Hiking poles may be helpful. You will find more detailed information regarding this volksmarch at the AVA link. You will start the walk promptly at 1:00 PM. Please arrive at the site at least 15 minutes before the start time to register. Walkers should bring and carry their own water. There are no restrooms along the Pate Hollow trail. There are restrooms at the campground on the Paynetown Whitetail Trail, but we don't know if they will be unlocked. You can walk at your pace and the idea is to get some exercise and meet new people. A 5K walk is about 3 miles and a 10K walk is approximately 6 miles. There is no problem if you walk a shorter (or longer) distance. It will speed up the registration process (but is not necessary), if you bring a peel-off address label
