C&O Lock 31 to Antietam Bike Ride

Details
A 46.2 kilometer bike ride, beginning and ending at the C&O Canal Lock 31 parking lot located at 19693 Keep Tryst Rd, MD. (Grid coordinates: 39.3299, -77.6820).
The ride is generally level with a total elevation gain of 350 meters. It is not a difficult route, running over blacktop roads and the C&O tow path which is hard packed dirt. A gravel bike or even a street bike with fatter tires will be sufficient for the ride. Lunch break at the Antietam Battlefield National Park.
Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses or eye protection. These are back roads and relatively quiet but nevertheless wear high visibility clothing for safety.
Rehydration options subject to consensus, but two possibilities are the Smoketown Brew Pub or the Potomac Street Grill, both in Brunswick, MD.
PS: The attached photo is just a shot of my bike. The route will not be close to Quievremont Winery.
