We’ll hike through Sweet Run SP with several water crossings over Sweet Run and Piney Run streams ~ some with bridge crossings and some without. We will stop for a short snack break at the picnic table surrounding Gordon Pond after 4.5 miles.

Please remember your Virginia State Parks annual pass or prepare to purchase a daily parking pass. Carpooling is encouraged. There is additional field parking located near the park office uphill from the trail head coordinates.

A porta potty is located in the parking lot as well as indoor bathrooms at the interpretive center.
