Porchella is the closing event of the Tom Tom Festival, held on Sunday, April 26. It features a series of free acoustic concerts performed on front porches throughout the historic Belmont neighborhood. This is a relaxed opportunity for our group to engage in a social walk through one of the city’s most character filled areas while enjoying local music ranging from folk to bluegrass.

We will meet at 4:00 PM at the Belmont Park entrance. This timing is strategic as it marks the start of the performances and allows us to experience the neighborhood before the peak evening crowds arrive. We will move as a unit, following the music from porch to porch at a steady pace. It is a mobile social event that encourages conversation and discovery without the noise of a traditional concert stage.

Parking in the residential streets of Belmont will be difficult. We recommend parking in the Downtown Mall garages and walking across the Belmont Bridge to the park. This ensures your vehicle is secure and keeps the neighborhood streets clear for the festivities. Arriving on time is essential if you intend to find the group before we begin the walk.

A minimum of five participants is required for this event to proceed. Please RSVP by April 19. Since this is an outdoor neighborhood event, stay tuned to the group thread for any weather related updates. We will maintain our presence as a collective while remaining open to the friendly atmosphere of the community.
