What we’re about
I live in Eagle Rock, a neighborhood in northeast Los Angeles where I also have a holistic healthcare practice. After watching Dan Buettner's Netflix documentary "Blue Zones," I wondered... "why can't this neighborhood in Los Angeles become a blue zone?" So I'm throwing a pebble in this world that is often healthy and devoid of health community that supports us to be healthy. So as 2025 starts, I've started this Meetup group to help us walk, grow food and learn how to make healthy meals. While it's based in Eagle Rock, folks from other areas of Los Angeles can join and participate. Maybe you'll be inspired to start something in your neighborhood.
