We will ascend the Adena Direct Trail and follow the ridge containing Adena Arch and around past the top of the Indian Staircase. and descend to the Sheltowee via the Indian Staircase Bypass Trail, exiting the loop on the Bison Way Trail. Other highlights include Indian Arch, Chamber of Council Rock Shelter, and Frog's Head. Total hike is around 4 miles, with a moderate - challenging rating due to non-technical (no ropes) climbing, exposed areas and very steep grades in places.

This isnt a dog friendly hike and not suitable for young children.

Meet at Park & Ride parking lot next to GoTime gas station. The carpool will leave no later than 9:15am

Directions:
From the I-64/I-75 southern split, drive east on I-64 16.4 mi, exit 98 Combs Mountain Parkway; drive 32 mi to exit 33, Hwy 15 (Slade); from exit go left, then immediate left (west), then another immediate left into park & ride parking lot next to GoTime gas station. Look for posted signs that say "Park & Ride"
