Hike-Van Hook Falls
Details
Located in part of the Cane Creek Wilderness Management Area is Van Hook Falls, one of the most iconic landmarks found along the Sheltowee trace. We will hike the Sheltowee trail #100 and explore several smaller waterfalls along the way that are located on Pounder Branch.

Experience Level: This is a great hike for both new and experienced hikers. If you’re looking to build strength, improve endurance, and gain confidence on a moderate route, this hike will be a solid challenge in a supportive group setting.

Directions to VHF trailhead:
From Lexington take I-75 South, drive 66 miles, take exit #38 for London. Turn right onto KY 192 W. Drive 14 miles to the junction of KY 192 W and KY 1193 S. The trailhead parking on your left. Travel time from Lexington is about 1.5 hours. The hike will begin at 9:00
