Urban Hike @Veteran's Park

Veterans Park is one of Lexington's largest parks with 240 acres open to the public with an array of amenities. The park is dedicated to honoring veterans and features a memorial area alongside scenic ponds and playgrounds. With well-maintained paths and abundant trees, the park serves as a peaceful retreat for both residents and travelers seeking outdoor activities in a serene environment.

Hike Details
We will meet at Picnic Shelter #3 near the Dog Park
The first part of our hike is thru the woods along the creek. Trail conditions are good but wear shoes with good traction. Also The trails in the woods are narrow. I will be wearing pants, you might want to also. Poison ivy all around, pants are a good idea.

• The rest of the hike will be along the concrete perimeter. Estimated distance 4-5 miles.
