Caesar Creek Perimeter Trail (13 miles)

Our Route: To hike the entire Perimeter Trail at Caesar Creek State Park in Waynesville, OH with some stops along the way. The Perimeter Trail is just under 13 miles (so think half marathon) and is a complete loop around the beautiful Caesar Creek lake. I (Natalie) have personally hiked this loop 19 times, so I'm going for 20 on this one and excited to share this beautiful hike with others!

No Guest: Hikers must have their own membership to RSVP for this event.

Experience Level: This hike is intended for those who can handle longer mileage and uneven terrain and move at a steady pace. We may have a swift pace at times, but we will also take as many breaks as needed. There will be two sections where we will be hiking on the road for about a mile or so with passing traffic (please be sure you are comfortable with this).

Carpool & Important Details:
Dave will be leading the carpool. Meet him at the Cabela's parking lot in Lexington at 7:30 AM with the goal of being all loaded up and on the road to Caesar Creek State Park by 7:45 AM. We should arrive at Caesar Creek State Park at about 9:45 AM.

If you aren't near Lexington and/or you choose to drive yourself please message Dave or Natalie and plan to be at the Caesar Creek State Park Visitor Center parking lot by 9:45 AM. There are restrooms at the Visitor Center. We will start the hike at 10:00 AM.

Bring snacks, lunch and water for the hike. After the hike, we will grab a bite to eat at Stonehouse Tavern in Waynesville before driving back to Cabela's in Lexington.
