Guild Meetup at Wendell Berry Center's Spring Open House

Details

There's a free event this Saturday that is likely to be up your alley if you're in this group, so i thought i should put out the word! It would be a pleasure to meet group members in the real world and talk Permaculture

The Berry Center is a great organization that supports a variety of efforts in Henry County and more widely which promote the agrarian philosophy of Wendell Berry. Berry is an essayist who argues against industrial agriculture in favor of small-scale farms with long-proven technologies and techniques such as draft animals. His influence does Kentucky proud.

Here's an abbreviated version of the event description from their site:
"It’s going to be a party and all are welcome! There will be readings and activities with children’s book authors... Plus: All Porked Out food truck, Jericho Farmhouse Ice Cream, a children’s book sale at The Bookstore, and kids can join YALL (the Youth Agrarian Literary League). Free parking is available in the lot behind The Berry Center."

Sorry for the late notice, but if you do plan on attending, drop a comment on the event here so we know who to look for. That morning i will comment here with a description of what i'm wearing so you can try to find me. I was thinking we could plan on finding each other at the ice cream food truck at 1:30PM

You can also message me and i'll share my phone number for anyone who wants to coordinate that way
