{Pasadena} 🎵 Blues Dance - December 2019 - Special Night!

Looking for a fun Friday night out? Come to Pasadena and blues dance — There's even a beginners blues dance lesson included in the $10 cover!

Note this is NOT our usual last Friday of the month dance date due to the Holidays.

No need to bring a friend or dance partner. Lots of people come out solo and everyone asks each other to dance—It's a great way to meet new people!

Cool! What is do Something Blue? Great question. do Something Blue is a blues dance held the last Friday of the month (there are some exceptions so stay tuned on MeetUp for each month's dance date).

💰 COVER $10* (Cash or Credit/Debit) *This is the cash discount price. Full price (using Credit) for entry is $11. No Bills Larger Than $20 Accepted.

🚗 PARKING There's plenty of street parking, both residential and meters (meters should all be off by 6pm). Just make sure to move your car by 2am.

✔️ CODE OF CONDUCT All attendees are expected to respect and abide by our Code of Conduct. It is displayed at the front desk nights of the dance.

🌊 GO GREEN at do Something Blue! Bring your reusable bottle and we can fill it up at the front desk with filtered water for $1 (bottles 24 oz or less*). Let's reduce our plastic waste. Woohoo!!

Forgot your bottle? We'll still have bottled water for sale for $1 and you can refill this bottle for $1 too.

*Have a larger bottle? No problem. We'll just adjust the price accordingly.

💃 What is Blues Dancing? It's a two step with a lot of different style variation. There is Ballroomin' styles but not a lot of dancers know them in LA ei. Strutin' and Savoy walk. You will see more of a Jukin' style of blues here.

👗👚 What should you wear? Something that you are comfortable in, whether it be a sundress or jeans and a t-shirt. It's about what makes you happy. 🥿 for shoes it's the same answer, comfort is best and something that is slippery with a suede or leather bottom.
