BES Annual "Remembrance Day" facilitated by Karen Elliott

Details
Sunday, June 1 - Remembrance Day. facilitated by Karen Elliott
In this virtual version of our traditional gathering together to remember the loss of those who have had an impact on our lives, we’ll share memories, thoughts about loss, and maybe even a few tears as we embody what a beloved community looks like.
On this Zoom only Remembrance Day, we will not only join together to remember those who have died in the last year, but also our community's loss of Hugh Taft-Morales as our Leader. Last week we celebrated Hugh on his retirement, but this week is for us - to talk about what he meant to us, and how our trained Leaders over the years have enhanced our understanding of Ethical philosophy and how we can better bring out the best in others and therefore in ourselves. After we spend some time on this shared loss within our community, we'll move on to a more traditional individual remembrance time for the rest of the program.
Facilitated by Karen Elliott, Ethical Culture Officiant and long time member and lay leader at the Baltimore Ethical Society.
