HARVEST Moon Hike on Pack Monadnock

Hike up. Watch the Sunset from the summit. Head to the other side. Watch the Moonrise. When the weather cooperates it's magic.

This is NOT Mt Monadnock. "Pack" means small in local Native American language. It's Mt Monadnock's smaller cousin

We're going to hike up Pack Monadnock to watch the sunset on top of the mountain. This isn't Mount Monadnock. It's a smaller version of it nearby. "Pack" is a native American term for "small". We hike up the trail but for safety reasons we will walk down the paved Road after Dark. Yes there is a paved road to the summit.

Sunset is about 6:37 so we should be on the trail hiking by 445.

Be ready for fall-ish Weather - layers
Bring a fleece.
Bring flashlight or headlamps. The moonrise and Sunset should be great.
