The historic Boardgame And RPG Enthusiasts Group is organizing online boardgames each wednesday, at 8:30 pm - 11:30pm on their online discord.

Join a welcoming community for folk near and far, young and old, of every shape, ability, and gender identity, as they enjoy digital boardgames and chatting in our discord voice channel to build a fun online community, centered around boardgames and roleplaying games. There are many different methods we use to play board games online, but the most common is a free website, Boardgame Arena. It is accessible through an app or from most web browsers, and facilitates live games of over 480 of the most popular boardgames.

Some games often played by members on BGA include, but are not limited to; Innovation, Space Base, Railroad Ink, Race for the Galaxy, 7 Wonders, Welcome To, and many more.

We also use the discord to coordinate future events, and with the recent access to widespread vaccination we are in the process of carefully opening up some live and in-person events. Come join us to be a part of the planning, or just for the most recent updates!

This meeting will be a freeform gaming event. Freeform Gaming meetings are open gaming events where everyone is welcome (and encouraged!) to suggest any games they would like to play. If you suggest a game, please be prepared to teach it to others, or make it clear up front if it will be a learning game for everyone. Rules lawyers and game-crappers should feel free to stay home.

To attend, all that we ask is that you review the Group Guidelines (https://www.meetup.com/bn-bareg/messages/boards/thread/4892770). While not required, RSVPing helps let us plan how to break up groups for games ahead of time.

Knowing beforehand, if we have room for a 6 player game of Codenames, or if someone is wanting to play a 5 player game of Terraforming Mars, makes things a little easier to plan.
