Social Deduction Games Night: Xmas Edition
Details
# Social Deduction Games Night:
Venue: The Bull Inn, 1 Price Street, Birmingham, B4 6JU. Parking is possible at the adjacent public car park (or nearby roads) though also good for public transport.
Theme: An additional one-off Wednesday boardgames evening in the lead-up to Christmas, where we will play social deduction games. These are games where players typically have hidden identities or hidden abilities, and a key element of gameplay is determining who has what role or ability.
Games: Our members have a big collection of modern tabletop board games to choose from, and please feel free to bring along similar games of your own. We will choose on the night, rather than in advance, what to play based on time available and player count.
Experience: All levels of experience welcome. Though we do ask that new players enter into the spirit, and don't leave mid-game or delay the fun with repeated interruptions please.
Cost: This is intended as a low-cost evening, but please do keep the publican happy with something from behind the bar, perhaps one of their fine real ales or a cuppa or a snack.
Arrival: To make it easiest for you to jump into a game straight away, it's best to arrive at the start of the session and stay on, plus it's worth trying new games as well as ones we already know.
Attendance: As with all events, please RSVP courteously, which means that no-shows and withdrawals in the last 24 hours are impolite. We need to reserve just the right amount of tables and seats.
Minimum attendance for viability will be at least 6 players, with no maximum as such. Though with more than 10-12 we will split evenly into separate tables.
