What we’re about
This is a English/German mixed group. We will adapt to either and/or both depending on the participants. For the English intro see below.
GERMAN INTRO:
Du suchst Sessions und Spieleabende mit Fokus auf hochinteraktive Brett- und Kartenspiele. Dabei ist es gleich ob du ein "Medium-Weight"-Spiele und Filler bevorzugst oder lange Hardcore-Sessions vorziehst. Wir ziehen spiele vor, die Spaß durch Interaktion bringen und Immersion durch hammer Game-Play.
Gespielt wird an der Bergstraße zunächst in Zwingenberg. Gut erreichbar von: Heidelberg, Mannheim, Bensheim, Seeheim-Jugenheim, Odenwald, Darmstadt, Mainz, Wiesbaden und Frankfurt am Main.
Je nach Teilnehmern spielen wir auf Englisch oder Deutsch. Die Spiele selbst sind meist englische Ausgaben, manche sind sprachunabhängig andere deutsche Ausgaben. Du bist willkommen, auch wenn du kein Englisch oder Deutsch sprichst; aber mindestens eines wird vorausgesetzt ;-).
Out sind multiplayer-solitaire Spiele (wie etwa Pandemie) und pure nicht-interaktive Engine-Builder (wie etwa Agricola) d.h. die meisten aber nicht alle Euro-Games kommen nur selten auf die Tische.
In sind Spiele die wir lieben! Spiele die man kollaborativ und/oder kompetitiv spielt. Spiele in denen du ableitest, bluffst, socialist, lügst, drohst und kooperieren musst, Strategien fährst, Rollen wählst und diese spielst, die eigene Identität verbirgst, Teams wechselst, anderen in den Rücken fällst und es wieder gut machst und so die beste Taktik und Strategie fährst: Spiele mit großer Immersion durch ihre Mechaniken, ihr dynamisches Game-Play und ihre Mechanik und somit krassen Momenten, an die man sich erinnern wird!
Du kannst deine eigenen Spiele mitbringen, aber die Auswahl ist bereits riesig.

You are looking for sessions and game nights with focus on highly interactive board and card games. It doesn't matter if you prefer "Medium-Weight"-Games and Fillers or long hardcore sessions. We value games that are fun through the interaction they offer and immerse you through their awesome game-play.
Good connection from: Heidelberg, Mannheim, Bensheim, Seeheim-Jugenheim, Odenwald, Darmstadt, Mainz, Wiesbaden and Frankfurt am Main. <br>
Depending on the participants we are going to play in English or German. The Games themselves are mostly English Editions, some are language independent others German Editions. You are welcome, even if you do not speak German or English; but at least one of those is mandatory ;-).
Off-Topic are multiplayer-solitaire (Pandemic for example) and pure non-interactive engine-building games (Agricola for example), e.g. most but not all euro-games will get onto the tables only rarely.
On-Topic are games we love! Games where you play collaboratively and/or competitive. Games where you deduce, bluff, socialise, lie, intimidate, cooperate, strategise, select roles and play them, hide your identities, switch teams, backstab and rejoin and by doing all that finding the best tactics and strategies: Games with high immersion through mechanics, dynamic gameplay, and hilarious rememberable moments.
You can bring your own games, but there is a huge collection available.
