What we’re about
Board Game Café (BGC) is an outreach initiative of Trillium United Church (in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada) that provides a safe and welcoming environment for those who enjoy playing card and board games. Board games include classic games (Scrabble, Monopoly, Cribbage etc.) and newer games (Settlers of Catan, Seven Wonders, Dominion, etc.) Card games include Wizard, Skull King, Five Crowns, etc. We encourage gamers to bring their own games to share with the community.
As an aside, we often find that the number of RSVPs and total attendance are often completely out of sync with each other. Some of our best attended evenings have had only a smattering of RSVPs.
BGC@Trillium can be found at 450 King Street East in Cambridge ON (just east of Eagle St. - entry is on Waterloo Street - look for the BGC sign). BGC is open to persons 16 and up. Youth (ages 12-15) accompanied by an adult (18 or over) are also welcome. Cost is $5 with free admission for full time students.
