What is Board @ The Hub?

Friendly, fun, local, pop-up board game event

A warm welcome awaits you whether you are a seasoned 'Board Gamer' or you are just coming along for the first time.

Enter a vast and impressive universe of board games that travels far beyond Monopoly, Cards Against Humanity, and Dominoes.

There really is likely to be something for everyone to enjoy.

So bring friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues for a fun, enjoyable, and inexpensive time together.

What can I expect to do at an event?

1. Game tables to join in with to learn and or play a fun game
2. Bring your own game to play and share with other members. *
3. A chance to play test games that are 'In-Development' **
4. Snacks and soft drinks are available to purchase at a reasonable price. You are welcome to bring your own, though we do ask you not to bring packets of nuts. (Please note that alcohol is not permitted at any time, on or off the premises, during the event).

Admission to an event is £3 (cash on the door please) and includes one free entry into the raffle^

Events are for people aged 18 and over.

14 - 17 year olds are welcome as well as long whilst they are accompanied with a responsible, paying adult.

What are the different prizes in the raffle?

1. One board game of your choice from a selection worth £15+
2. One game of 'Guess for Glory' to try and win free entry for the following month.
3. One game of 'Roll for Glory' to win the pot - currently £10

3. November - Friday 17th, 7pm - 10pm

Small Print

If you would like to reserve a table to play on for free, please contact us before attending. Please let us know:

• The game you will be playing
• How many players can play the game
• Will you have any space for other members to join in.

This facility is not for those play-testing their own games.

** 'In-Development' games are only available at events attended by visiting game developers either by arrangement or invitation.
If you are developing a game and it is ready for playtesting, please contact us. We request a suggested donation of £10 per table, and in return, we will provide free admission and a free drink and snack for demonstrators.

^ Raffle tickets can be held or bought by anyone at the event.
Please note that only those aged 18 or over may collect any prize legitimately won, including playing higher or lower.
