Join us at the Google LA campus as Reddit CTO Chris Slowe engages one of the “Fathers of the Internet,” Vint Cerf, on topics ranging from innovation in LA to connecting the next billion users!
===============EVENT DETAILS===========
11:15 - 12pm: Doors open w/ reception (light food and drink will be served)
12 noon - 1 pm: Fireside chat. No admittance after 12pm. Due to filming, we unfortunately cannot allow latecomers to be seated.
• Participants must find their own parking--ridesharing is encouraged! (see below)
• Light food and drink will be provided during the reception prior to the talk.
• RSVP is required
• This talk will be recorded! Participants will need to sign a video release waiver prior to entering and the video may be posted online on the Talks@Google YouTube channel.
• Doors close at 12pm sharp. Once filming has started, we unfortunately cannot allow latecomers to be seated.
===== PARKING=====
Participants will need to find their own parking, so please allow extra time for parking plus walking to the venue. We strongly urge participants to avoid driving if possible (please consider ridesharing/biking/walking). If you do drive, we ask that you avoid parking on the street in the neighborhood and use one of the off-site parking lots in the area. Some of the larger capacity lots nearby are:
1 Rose Ave, Venice
110 Navy St, Venice
2600 Barnard Way, Santa Monica (large lot with ample parking, but a longer walk)
