LA Fires – Volunteering - part 2

Details
I know many people often don’t feel comfortable sorting through other people’s clothing with bare hands, so you may want to bring your own disposable gloves. Since you will be outside the entire time, you may also wish to bring your own N95 masks in case the air quality there is not good.
I was there yesterday and they had plenty of food and drinks there for the volunteers.
The closest restrooms are at The Cheesecake Factory.
They have some external lighting there so that the work can continue into the evening, but I would also recommend having a jacket in your car as it did get a bit cool there in the evening.
The racetrack has given them very specific areas to park so please make sure you check with the volunteers directing traffic so that your car doesn’t get towed or ticketed.
I plan to go there again this weekend, and I hope some of you may be able to join me, but if you’re not able to make it to Santa Anita and you have some donations, please message me here as I’m happy to load up my car and bring your donations with me over there.
Stay safe everyone!
