Aeon Trespass Odyssey
I've owned this game for several years, and it's my Holy Grail of board games. The studio has just released an incredible audio update, including voice acting, sound effects, and a captivating score. It's essentially a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' with epic boss battles. The depth of this game is mind-blowing. I'm thrilled at the prospect of playing it with one to three other enthusiasts. I'm quite familiar with the rules and eager to share the experience by teaching them. The link below showcases the game but it also shows the follow up game called Twelve Sins of Herakles. I of course backed that as well but it is currently being developed and won't be finished for another year or so. I do have the entirety of Aeon Trespass: Odyssey in hand of all five cycles.

The beauty of this game is it shares a lot of similarities with Aeon Trespass Odyssey. If we learn ATO this game will be easy to pick up.

This one is fully narrated and I have played a little bit of it. The story is excellent and rewards you for paying attention, you may notice clues and subsequently find a magic item or hidden passage. The combat system is very unique and I would love to try this again.

Additional games I own but not linking their pages to are; Spirit Island and its expansions, Pandemic Legacy, Big Trouble in Little China, Ra, 7th Continent and 7th Citadel (not as good as I'd hoped), Sleeping Gods, Final Girl Season 1, Eclipse with expansion, Arcadia Quest, Champions of Midgard, Small World, Nefarious, Blood on the Clocktower and Arkham Horror. Not sure how much of Arkham I own. Components got scattered during a move.

Cooperative Play: It's all about teamwork here. We'll strategize together, celebrate our successes, and learn from our challenges, all in good spirits.
Atmosphere: Picture a venue with a cozy, strategic vibe - perhaps a bit of a noir feel, where every whispered plan could lead to our group's triumph. In other words we will find a local comic shop and potentially graduate to my home. :)
Who Should Join:
Enthusiasts of cooperative gameplay who enjoy complex mechanics and long sessions. I prefer to meet earlier rather than later, my days rotate off. If it is a weekend I am off, I would much rather meet in the morning. I prefer longer game sessions that are less frequent than weekly meet ups. Open to change on this though.
Anyone who loves the social aspect of gaming, where working together is the key to success.
Location: South Side of Chicago/South Suburbs of Chicago (Oak Lawn, Palos Heights, Tinley Park etc) - exact venue to be announced, chosen for its ambiance and accessibility.

This setup should attract those interested in a night of challenging, cooperative gameplay. I prefer someone who is equally enthused to learn the rulebooks and even assist in that regard. For the last 10 years I have been the buyer of the game, the host of game night and the one who spends a week leading up to it learning the rules. To have some of this burden off my shoulders would be welcome.
