I've loved them since I was a kid. 1994 1st Tennessee Bank Memphis Monopoly Tournament Champion. I stopped playing in high school, then played Magic: the Gathering during college & afterward for about 10 years. I've been playing board games again for 2 years. I discovered Wil Wheaton's show TableTop on YouTube & am addicted again.
Pandemic, Last Night on Earth, Android: Netrunner, Level 7: Omega Protocol, Gloom, Alien Frontiers, Lords of Waterdeep, Stone Age, Jaipur, Power Grid, Belfort, Airlines Europe, Ricochet Robots, DiscWorld, Small World, Dominion & so many more. =)
Either, however my house is "cozy" and can't accomdate more than 3 or 4 guests.
Yes. - As long as they are casual / friendly. (I don't care about prizes.)
As long as you don't have B.O. & like board games we'll get along.
Very casual and fun.
