Grassroots Lightning Month - Meetup 1

August 2025 is Grassroots Lightning Month at BOB Space. This month, we hear from local Bitcoiners who have been promoting Grassroots Lightning adoption by educating small merchants in their respective areas about the Lightning payment network, including onboarding merchants to receive their first sats over Lightning.

On Friday August 8th,we kick off Grassroots Lightning Month with a special guest, My from WelB. Through the WelB initiative, My has been onboarding small merchants, especially in eastern Bangkok, to the Lightning network. Come listen to his story and learn why/how he's doing this.
