What we’re about
My friends and I love boba, the drinks are flavorful and unique, but there's also a wonderful culture around it. One that's about coming together and discussing the day or catching up with someone you haven't seen in a while. In any way, boba has a special way of connecting people that I love to see and facilitate. So let's meet up and grab boba together!
Since most boba shops are tiny and don't really have any seating, meetups will most likely consist of grabbing our boba first and then finding a public place nearby where we can chat for a while. Events may also include activities such as board games, sightseeing, or doing group activities.

As with all of our meetup events, our intention is to create a safe space for everyone. So above all else, be kind and respectful to one another. We have a zero tolerance policy on any form of harassment including unwanted and persistent advances, sexism, racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, hate speech, sexual harassment, use of derogatory terms, and discrimination of any kind. Please be considerate and respectful of other people’s boundaries. If at any point you have any concerns or feel unsafe around other members of the group, please inform one of the hosts. You will be banned from the group and all future events if any of these rules are broken.

Hey boba enthusiasts! Come join us at Dr.T House just across from Santa Monica College. Dr.T House serves a wonderful assortment of classic milk teas, smoothies, specialty coffee drinks and more! With a quick selection of snacks and a comfortable neighborhood shop environment, Dr.T will fix you up in no time! After we have our drinks, we'll walk down to Virginia Avenue Park where we'll find a place to relax and mingle until the event's end. If this sounds like a good time come along, we'd love to have you!
