Book description:
Brave New World is set in a futuristic world state where humans are engineered and conditioned to keep society stable and economically productive. People are kept content through shallow pleasures, a rigid caste system, and a drug called soma that numbs any discomfort. When an outsider named John enters this world, his struggle to understand it forces others to confront what they've sacrificed for comfort.
