About Green Tara
Green Tara, known as the "Swift Liberator" and the "Mother of all Buddhas," is one of the most beloved Buddhist deities in Tibetan Buddhism. She represents enlightened activity, compassion in action, and the swift removal of obstacles. Depicted in a vibrant green color symbolizing vitality and enlightened activity, she sits in a position ready to spring into action, helping all beings in distress.
Tara's teachings emphasize:
- Swift assistance to those who call upon her with devotion
- Protection from both worldly and spiritual obstacles
- Development of fearlessness and compassionate action
- Liberation from suffering and the cycle of existence
The Green Tara practice is particularly relevant in our modern times, offering methods to transform anxiety into peace, fear into courage, and confusion into wisdom. This teaching will provide practitioners with practical tools for incorporating Green Tara's enlightened qualities into their daily lives.
