ENERGETIC BODY: Moving & Sensing

In this somatic movement class, we will allow the body to express what has remained unexpressed. Through guided improvisation, imagination, playful prompts and interactive group exercises, we will explore different states of embodied presence and allow energy, emotions, sensations to move, flow and transform.

This class is for anyone who wants to reconnect with their body, release stuck energy, move for pure pleasure, or experience the freedom of authentic expression within a supportive group setting.

Together, we will create a safe space for curious bodies seeking more softness, joy, self-acceptance and empowerment.
You may leave the class feeling energized, yet grounded and
present in your body. (and perhaps more ready for the weekend)

About the facilitator:
Stathis Roukas is a queer Greek interdisciplinary artist, bodyworker and movement facilitator currently based in Madeira, after living in Berlin for 11 years where he hosted multiple somatic workshops and classes.

He believes our human bodies are underexpressed and his purpose is to change that- encouraging people to listen more to their bodies and express themselves without shame. His practice is trauma informed and he is passionate about diversity and inclusion. He loves the sea and purple skies.
