We'll start by engaging in gentle, mindful movements and drawing from somatic methods such as Feldenkrais and Body-Mind Centering. These somatic practices, sometimes called "body-aware daydreaming", help us release habitual patterns of physical tension so that we can relax into a state of deep rest — increasing resting brain activity and theta waves similar to those of the dream state. This means that by the time we enter the Dreamwork phase of our workshop, our nervous systems are regulated and our bodies open. This allows for more of the pure wisdom of the dream to come through, rather than making Dreamwork a mental or analytical exercise.

Bring a journal and a dream, if you have one you want to work with. Don't recall your dreams? Not a problem, we'll simply work with daydream imagery. Warm herbal tea will be served,
