The Merging Pattern of Personality

Details
We continue our deep dive into the 5 personality patterns of somatic psychology.
"The Merging Pattern" - Are you, or someone close to you;
- Very loving (perhaps too much emphasis on love)
- Very generous (even prone to giving away too much)
- Almost always happy and bubbly
- Difficult to fully satisfy
- Manipulative in getting own needs met
As with all the 'patterns of attention', the merging pattern has it's gifts and challenges - we will explore these on the 31st, and practice the complimentary skills of;
- Grounding
- Experiencing the Core of Self
- Experiencing the Boundary of Self
- Direct communication
- Making requests
- Receiving
Last year a group member asked if we could cover 'Attachment Styles', and I explained that I'd like to approach such topics through the lens of Personality. This lens provides insights into many aspects of psychology which cannot be understood as 'stand alone' topics.

See you at 1pm on the 31st!
