Welcome to Body Positive Walks Auckland- Trails Not Scales

Join our inclusive walking group where everyone ideally is over 40, ( although younger members are welcome too) where every body is welcome regardless of size, fitness level or ability.

Let's explore Auckland's beautiful tracks and trails together, and occasionally other places like the Waikato and Northland Regions - focusing on fun,friendship and well-being.

We're a safe space for all body positive walkers, hikers, trampers, trekkers, and wannabes.

- Zero tolerance for body shaming or toxic behaviours .

- Focus on social connections, shared experiences outdoors, and in, - and enjoyment.

Essentials For Keeping Yourself Happy and Comfortable & Prepared for Our Walking Group Events.

- Please wear comfortable, strong hiking shoes/boots and dress for the weather conditions.

- Bring along everything you need to keep yourself warm, hydrated and fed and any personal items you might need during our walks and hikes . Carry everything in a small backpack. Use dry bags to separate items.

- Optional - Hiking / Trekking Poles . Headlamp or torch. First Aid Kit, Sunscreen, Hat, Sunglasses. Gloves, Towel for Random Summer Season Swimming opportunities.

About Your Host & Walking Guide A born in New Zealand, and long time Aucklander, Stephen French is a long time Meet Up Group Organiser , and the Founder of one of Aucklands biggest Auckland Hiking & Urban Walking Group called Feet First which I personally Organized over 750 Events since 2010.. That was an amazing few chapters of my life bringing people together for outdoor adventures and getting fitter and healthy.

Jump in Feet First and Join Us as we have a better life to live being Active and Healthier.

Each Body Positive walk will be described in full, with the walk time, and where the location is, what to wear, bring along, the level of Difficulty etc. All within an easy drive or bus ride or Share a Ride by Carpooling, of Central Auckland.

Our group setting is set to " private" ( verus the default "public ") to protect the privacy of our membership. You must be a member to see Member information and Event details.

Join in our upcoming Urban City Guided Walks, and Hiking Events and experience the joy of exploring nature together, and our historical heritage, and learn something about the flora and fauna around Auckland and Beyond.

Slower paced walking, we leave all the fast paced walking to other groups.
