About us
Boise Basin Photographers is a group for people who want to learn and grow in nature and landscape photography while exploring Idaho’s outdoors.
At our events, we:
Go on group photo outings (sunrise, sunset, and local spots)
Share tips on composition, lighting, and camera settings
Learn by shooting together in a relaxed, hands-on environment
Anyone interested in learning or improving landscape photography—all skill levels welcome.
📷 Digital cameras are recommended, but phones are absolutely welcome.
If you enjoy being outdoors and want to take better photos, you’ll fit right in. Our outings range from sunrise, sunset, and night photography to adventure-based shoots like camping, hiking, and backpacking—all focused on capturing beautiful moments. And after the moments are captured editing and photo processing will be included in group activities for those interested and want to teach or learn more.
For those interested in backcountry photography and hiking with camera gear, group will cover how to manage shots in rugged landscapes and in the elements.
