Best of Boise 2025: Kibrom's Ethiopean & Eritrean Food 🎉🥂

The results are in!!! Each year, locals submit their votes for the Best of Boise restaurants, services, and attractions, etc., and once again Kibrom's Ethiopian has won BIG! And after a brief summer hiatus, I am now recharged and ready to celebrate these favorite local businesses with my fellow introverts :)

Whether you have been wanting to try Kibrom's for forever now or simply love this delicious gem, all are welcome to dine with us! This year, locals have voted them best in two categories; Best "Ethnic" and Best Vegetarian Entree

Note: I do want to acknowledge that the term "ethnic" is increasingly seen as problematic and can be considered offensive or outdated.

What is Ethiopian cuisine???
Ethiopian food is known for its unique combination of flavors, often featuring stews, injera (a spongy flatbread), and a variety of spices. It is characterized by a balance of earthy, spicy, tart, and pungent tastes, often using a special spice blend called berbere.

Menu includes:

• Veggie & Beef Samosas
• Bozena-Shiro: A flavorful bean dish made from chickpeas
• Kae-wot: Tender beef cooked in spicy chili
• Gomen: Cooked down kale & potatoes seasoned with onion & garlic
• Alicha-Wot: Morsels of beef cooked in a buttery, onion & tomato sauce seasoned with turmeric
