Let's face it, being active in the winter is HARD WORK! It's cold, it's dark, the trails are mushy, and there is so much streaming to do!

We've done various kinds of step challenges over the years and they are always fun! So whether you need a little extra motivation (like me), or you're wanting to participate in an event without actually talking to anyone, this event is perfect for you ๐Ÿ™‚

First Day: Monday, Dec 29th
Last Day: Sunday, Jan 5th

Here's how it works:
I will split the group into TWO teams

  • You have 1 week to log in as many steps as you can
  • Track your steps with your smartphone, Fitbit, or smart watch
  • Log them into the google doc
  • We will track them and give updates with our progress!

How to get steps:

  • walking the dog
  • pacing during virtual meetings
  • snowshoeing
  • treadmill
  • jumping jacks (would not recommend!)

Every bit counts!!! You do not have to walk 5 miles a day to participate. Just get moving in any way that you are comfortable with!
