Boise River Walk
Details
Get outside and walk a section of the Boise River Greenbelt Trail! We'll be starting at Barber Park (meet at the "you are here" mark on the trail photo, at the south end of the lot in front of the Barber Park Education and Event Center) and walking north (we'll be following the red, then blue trail, extending past Bown Crossing and the East Park Center bridge). It will be a mostly un-paved out-and-back "hike" approx 6 miles round trip along the river. Dogs are allowed, on-leash. I may or may not bring mine.
Pace: I consider myself the fast side of slow, or slower side of moderate (3-3.5 mph). The trail is unpaved, flat. I have allowed 2.5 hours, but that includes some buffer - I don't expect it to take quite that long.
They are calling for some rain this week, but it should clear up by the weekend. If the trail is muddy, the greenbelt will be a paved alternative.
Hope to see you there!
