Sunday Afternoon Hike - Kestrel-Crestline-Red Cliffs Loop
Details
It looks like Sunday is going to be on the cooler side, so perfect for an afternoon hike. This loop is one of my favorites - about 3 miles with just under 500 feet elevation gain. All Trails says 1.5 hours, but I'm scheduling 2 just in case. I'm planning on a slower side of moderate pace (or faster side of a slow pace).
Meet at the Lower Hulls Gulch Trailhead parking lot on the 8th Street extension (you'll want to continue past the point where the road turns to gravel - parking is on the right. The lot is pretty small - it's not unusual for overflow to park along the road, or there is additional parking at the Grove Trailhead - about a 10 minute walk).
