Day trip to Tamarack.

Let's go enjoy the posh setting of Tamarack. The resort is known for it's hill and lodge, but they also have a fairly extensive groomed nordic system. We will explore that system and then see what their lodge has to offer in the way of amenities. Nordic passes cost $15.

Given the variety of trails, we won't have a pre-determined route. Instead, upon arrival, we grab out tickets and set a return gathering time.

After getting our exercise, we will gather to sample the wares in their lodge district.

Meetup will start at Winco parking lot at Hwy 44 (State St.) and 55, near the carwash. Carpool/rides arranged, drive to Tamarack. Attendees will want to check in on Meetup group chat to be able to locate each other once at the resort. Information online is sketchy about nordic/snowshoe information but states that the Arling lot is best for Nordic. Once assembled, the group will decide on a return gathering time/location.

Once finished, those interested in scoping out the resort social scene are welcome to do so. There are various options for food and drink.

Carpooling is encouraged. Riders are expected to contribute to the cost of travel with drivers. At gathering, we will figure out riders/drivers with an emphasis on figuring out who might want to stay and hang out and who might want to get back sooner.
