Location: Oregon Trail Reserve West Parking Lot

Join me and my dog, Jake, for an easy hike along the Oregon Trail Reserve in Southeast Boise (weather dependent)! The hike will be about 2.5-3 miles with a little over 100 ft. of elevation gain. There isn't any water along this trail, so bring what you need for you and your dog. This is designated as an on-leash trail. We'll meet at the West Parking lot (the second parking area as you drive in from 21).

\*\*There is an "Oregon Trail" on either side of route 21; if you're traveling on 21 N, it will be on the left. Please refer to the pin I have on the map\*\*

Pack Walk Ground Rules 🐾🚶‍♂️ 1️⃣ All Dogs Must Be Leashed  2️⃣ Maintain Safe Distances Keep at least 6 feet between dogs at all times. No on-leash greetings—this helps prevent tension or reactivity.  3️⃣ No Nose-to-Nose or Face-to-Face Contact  4️⃣ Stay Aware of Your Dog's Behavior  5️⃣ Follow the "No-Talk, No-Touch, No-Eye-Contact" Rule Please do not approach, pet, or talk to another member's dog unless they confirm that it's ok. These actions can be intimidating for anxious or nervous dogs.  6️⃣ Bring Essential Supplies Treats, poop bags, water, etc.  7️⃣ Respect Everyone’s Space Not all dogs are comfortable around people—ask before approaching another dog.  8️⃣ No Off-Leash Dogs Allowed Even if your dog is friendly, off-leash dogs can cause stress for reactive pups.  9️⃣ If Your Dog is Struggling, That’s Okay! This is a learning experience!
