Remote Workers: Women’s Social (April)

Many members are looking for deeper friendships, not just brief conversations during an event. So, this month we’re trying something new.

I’ll organize groups of three women who live in roughly the same part of town and are in similar life stages. Instead of meeting 10+ people briefly, you’ll leave the evening with two new connections.

We’ll gather at the Rose Garden gazebo in Julia Davis Park, where you’ll privately answer 3-5 multiple-choice questions that will help me organize small groups based on commonalities. From there, we’ll move to an open space in the park and start connecting.

Groups will be shuffled once or twice so you can chat with additional people. Your original trio will remain your home group, and before leaving you’ll exchange phone numbers and make a small commitment to connect again outside of Meetup for coffee, a walk, the dog park, lunch, or any shared interest.

This event is best for those who have the desire, time, and energy to invest in building new friendships.

Feel free to bring a folding chair or blanket, along with drinks or snacks. If the weather doesn’t cooperate for an outdoor event, the meetup may be rescheduled.
