AI Slop is Dead. AI "Fine" is Deadly.
Details
Despite what you read on LinkedIn, Twitter, or [insert your favorite industry podcast], AI doesn't produce bad work anymore (unless you're being lazy). But it does produce fine work, and fine is the riskiest problem. Bad is essentially harmless; no one wants bad creative and it's quickly tossed. But fine looks shippable. Fine gets approved. Fine can take your job.

So what do you do about it?
Travis Franklin spent nearly 30 years leading marketing and creative teams, working for companies ranging from community brands to national ones. Now, he's the founder of Bar 9 AI, building AI systems for clients. Some of the systems write copy. Some of them build landing pages. Not one of them ships without a real person in the loop who helps avoid fine.
This will be a short, honest conversation about where AI systems actually help, where they fall down, what they're taking from you. And most importantly, why the gap between fine and finished -- your judgment, your taste, the experience you've been throwing into every project for free -- is now the most valuable solution you bring to the table.
As always, BCPC meetups are free and open to Boise-area creative professionals at every experience level. New faces are always welcome.
