6:30 - 7:45: Introduction to Actions on Google: Architecture + Tools + Code (Aza Tulepbergenov)

At Google I/O 2016, Google announced the Google Assistant. Assistant allows users to interact with their devices seamlessly through the power of spoken language. Currently, Assistant powers Google Home and Pixel. Google made it clear that the future will be AI-powered, making the Assistant even more exciting. As developers, we can build applications on the Assistant platform using Actions on Google. Actions on Google provide an interface for developers to interact with the Assistant and build speech-recognition applications using powerful Google libraries. At the meetup, we will learn how to build Voice User Interfaces (VUIs). Mainly, we will learn the architecture of VUIs, tools (i.e. API.AI) and code our first voice-recognition application!

7:45 - 8:00: Networking / Mingling / Raffle
