BOLD is thrilled to host a reading with Janet Clare, author of True Home, in conversation with Laura Stanfill, author of Imagine a Door.

LA author Janet Clare, author of True Home (Vine Leaves Press), will be in conversation with Portland author and publisher Laura Stanfill. They’ll talk about Janet’s second novel—including its Pacific Northwest setting and coming of age themes—and the experience of publishing with a small press.

Janet Clare has had short stories and essays published online and anthologized. Her novel, Time Is the Longest Distance was published in 2018. True Home is her second novel. She lives in Los Angeles.

Laura Stanfill is the author of IMAGINE A DOOR and SINGING LESSONS FOR THE STYLISH CANARY.
