BOLD is thrilled to host a reading with Pamela Nickel Williams, author of Clearly Lies Are True, in conversation with Shavaun Scott, author of Nightbird.

Join us for an evening of inspiration and revelations as author Pamela Nickel Williams shares her journey from cult follower to cult survivor and advocate. Sharing excerpts from her book, Pamela will engage in a Q&A as she shares her healing journey. Pamela is an accomplished educator who has taught in the public education system, the private sector, and in higher education. She has been a guest on several podcasts including Speaking of Cults, IndoctriNation, and Divorcing Religion.

Pamela will be in conversation with Shavaun Scott. Shavaun is the author of Nightbird, a memoir that delves unflinchingly into the complex dynamics of revenge suicide in the context of abusive relationships.

Pamela Nickel Williams was born into Scientology. Her memoir, Clearly Lies Are True, is a powerful and compelling first-hand narrative account of her experiences as a child during the early inception of Scientology. Through detailed experiences and vivid memories, she reveals how this cult powerfully and forcefully shaped her childhood and her family.

Shavaun Scott has been a psychotherapist for over 30 years. She specializes in trauma recovery.
