Children’s Storytime: Steph Littlebird, You Are the Land

BOLD is thrilled to host a special children’s storytime with Steph Littlebird, author of You Are the Land.

In her author debut, local Indigenous artist Steph Littlebird celebrates Oregon's unique tribal culture while encouraging readers to connect more deeply with the world around them.

Author-Artist Steph Littlebird ​is a member of Oregon’s Grand Ronde Confederated Tribes. Her first illustrated children's book MY POWERFUL HAIR (2023) received the national Carter G. Woodson Social Studies Award (2024). Her author debut YOU ARE THE LAND, an ode to the Willamette Valley, was published by Penguin in 2026.
