Fall getaway weekend at Stump Sprouts in western MA

Come to The Women’s Berkshire Getaway Weekend
at STUMP SPROUTS, in West Hawley, MA, OCTOBER 18-20, 2019

Stump Sprouts is a cross country ski lodge and guest house in the winter. It’s owned and operated by Suzanne and Lloyd Crawford. Check out the Stump Sprouts website, www.stumpsprouts.com. This is not a Women Outdoors weekend.

Participants bring their own bedding, share rooms, double or triple occupancy and bathrooms in the lodge or guest house. Every year there are first timers and old timers.

Possible activities: Long and short hikes are nearby, a bike trail in North Adams, and zip-line tours in Charlemont, MA, (www.zoaroutdoor.com); Mass MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) in North Adams, Edith Wharton’s home in Lennox, take photos, sketch, do puzzles or board games, do homework (whatever that is) or nothing at all. Choose what you would like to do and there is a good chance that another woman will want to do that too.

Cost is $182.32 which includes tax. Cost includes 3 days and 2 nights, 6 home cooked meals (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch) vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The vegetables are often from Suzanne and Lloyd’s garden. (Usually Saturday’s lunch is a bag lunch so that we can go off hiking and/or sightseeing).
