Leading the festivity is DJ Prashant—the son of an Indian Air Force veteran and a pioneering force in Desi nightlife. Since leaving Intel in 2009 to become a full‑time artist, DJ, and event producer, he has spent 17+ years bringing people together through Indian music and culture, with a journey from Cornell‑educated engineer to cultural trailblazer that inspires Asian Americans to follow their passions. As an ex‑Intel engineer turned DJ, choreographer, singer, and community organizer, he’s known for enthralling sets that weave interactive dance lessons and performances into an irresistible blend of the world’s greatest dance music.
