Live Band Karaoke!!! (POSTPONED)

So here's the deal, bombshells. The Highball is hosting a free Live Band Karaoke series on Tuesday nights, which means anybody who's in the mood to hit some high notes can live out her lifelong dream of being Madonna, or Stevie Nicks, or Whitney (or Britney), or Gaga. With a live house band (yep, that's what we said) backing her up as she rocks the mic.

We're all about doing what scares us these days, so Ellie and I each solemnly promise you that we will get up onstage and sing like we mean it. Neither of us has ever done anything like this before, so if we can do it, so can you. Or at the very least, you can just come out to watch and pretend you're an American Idol judge or something.

Ready to rock & roll? Join us at The Highball at 1142 South Lamar at 9 pm Tuesday night, March 29. Karaoke starts in the main room at 9:30, and we'll likely be knocking back a teensy bit of liquid courage to get ready for our moment in the spotlight. So come out and show us up or show your support. Just promise you'll show! :)
