A women’s social dinner and potluck in Valencia, part of Bond, a women’s community running social events across the city for women looking to meet new people. This is a potluck done properly: everyone brings one dish that actually means something to them, a recipe from home, something your mum makes, the dish you cook when you’re homesick, not something grabbed from the shop on the way. We lay it all out on one long table and eat together, family style.
We start at 5:45, so come hungry and bring your dish ready to share. It’s kept small on purpose, so you actually get to talk to everyone at the table, not just the two people beside you. By the second course you’re deep in conversation, and by dessert you’ve got three new numbers in your phone.

A barre class followed by social drinks for women in Valencia, hosted by Bond. The class runs a full hour, all levels genuinely welcome, nothing to bring but yourself and comfortable clothes. Right after, we move straight into drinks together with absolutely no rush to leave, and that’s the part people actually come back for: everyone’s still a bit flushed and buzzing from class, the conversation starts easy, and an hour turns into two without anyone noticing.
