The Journey From Developer To Entrepreneur w/ Benjamin Wilms & Sebastian Mancke

Details
Software eats the world and many international top companies today are led by engineers-turned-entrepreneurs, building companies that have an impact on our private or professional life's. But, how did they do it? How do you transition from being an engineer to become an entrepreneur? What is the key to become a good entrepreneur?
In this meetup we have the pleasure to have two local entrepreneurs (both with a developer background) as our guests: Benjamin Wilms (CEO Steadybit) and Sebastian Mancke (CEO Snabble).
After individual introductions, there will be an open panel discussion with questions from the audience around the journey of becoming an entrepreneur and their experiences.
To allow everyone to participate safely we are going to have a remote-only Meetup this time. Please find the Zoom link once you've RSVP'ed.

# About Snabble
Sebastian Mancke founded Snabble in 2018. It’s a self-checkout app used by Aldi, TeeGschwendner and many more stores. This is the kind of technology that Amazon also built to open their cashierless stores in 2016. They are based in Bonn. The first time our co-host Konstantin Tieber met Sebastian Mancke was at the froscon 2016, where he gave a talk about why golang rocks.
# About Steadybit
Steadybit is a chaos engineering platform that strives to enable software providers to build more resilient products. Practicing chaos engineering makes your services more robust to unexpected conditions in production. Benjamin Wilms, Dennis Schulte and Johannes Edmeiner founded the company in 2019 and it has been growing ever since. They are based in Solingen.
